Ryanair flights Riga to Rome Ciampino airport

On Thursday, 5 May, at Riga International Airport the first direct flight was launched on the route Riga – Rome Ciampino . To celebrate this event a special cake that represents one of the most significant historical monuments of Rome - the Coliseum was made for the passengers of the first flight.

The carrier Ryanair will perform direct flights for times a week: on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. The airline will operate the flights on a Boeing 737 aircraft and the flight duration will be approximately three hours.

Ryanair’s low cost flights to Rome Ciampino Airport land 15km from central Rome in central Italy. A 45-minute bus ride after your direct Rome flight you can be staring at the Colosseum in awe, picturing the gladiators’ battles of ancient history.
