On Saturday, 23 April, at Riga International Airport the first direct flight was launched on the route Riga - Antalya.
The carrier Turkish Airlines will perform direct flights two times a week: on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The airline will operate the flights on a Boeing 737-800 aircraft and the flight duration will be approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes. Business Class customers enjoy 35 inches seat pitch and airport lounge access.
To celebrate this event a special cake in the form of a beach in turquoise colour was made for the passengers of the flight. Antalya is the main tourism centre and is called Turkish Riviera. In Antalya leisure, entertainment or just relaxation can be perfectly combined with the cultural, cognitive and conference tourism.
