American Eagle, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, is adding an additional seasonal daily round-trip flight between Chicago O'Hare International Airport and Quad City International Airport in Moline, Ill., beginning April 5. The new service will be operated with 50-seat Embraer jets.
American Eagle also serves Moline with two daily nonstop flights from its largest hub in Dallas/Fort Worth, Tex.
"We are very excited that American Eagle has added more seats into the market with this additional daily flight into O'Hare," said Bruce Carter, Director of Aviation at the Quad City International Airport. "We look forward to our continued partnership with American Eagle and hope to someday see more frequency to Dallas/Fort Worth as well."
"We're delighted to increase our service from Moline to American's cornerstone hub in Chicago," said Gary Foss, Vice President – Planning and Marketing for American's regional network. "Now with four daily nonstop flights, customers from the Quad Cities will have even more travel options from which to choose, as well as more convenient connections in Chicago to destinations throughout American's vast global network."
