american airlines seasonal service to Evansville, Ind

American Eagle, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, is adding an additional seasonal round-trip flight between Chicago O'Hare Airport ORD and Evansville Regional Airport in Evansville, Ind., beginning April 5. The new service will be operated with 50-seat Embraer jets.

American Eagle also serves Evansville with two daily nonstop flights from its largest hub in Dallas/Fort Worth.
"This is great news for the City of Evansville and the greater Southwest Indiana region," said Jonathan Weinzapfel, Mayor of the City of Evansville. "Not only does every additional flight into and out of Evansville expand the opportunities available for individual residents to travel for business and leisure, but it opens the door even further for business and economic development efforts."
"We're delighted to increase our service from Evansville to American's cornerstone hub in Chicago," said Gary Foss, Vice President – Planning and Marketing for American's regional network. "Now with five daily nonstop flights, customers from Southwestern Indiana will have even more travel options from which to choose, as well as more convenient connections in Chicago to destinations throughout American's vast global network."
