American Eagle Launches New Service from JFK

Customers from Norfolk, Cincinnati and Indianapolis now have increased access to New York City on American Eagle, as well as convenient connections to 28 international destinations that American serves nonstop from JFK throughout the Caribbean, South America, Europe and Japan.
American Airlines and American Eagle further expand their presence in New York today by launching daily nonstop service between New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and five new destinations. American begins two daily flights from JFK to Fort Lauderdale (FLL), both using a 140-seat Boeing Super MD-80.

American Eagle Airlines launched daily nonstop service between JFK and three U.S. destinations – Norfolk International Airport (ORF), Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG), and Indianapolis International Airport (IND) – using 50-seat Embraer ERJ-145 jets.

"Whether for business or pleasure, across the country or around the world, our customers in New York enjoy convenient connections on American."

American provides a global route network from its state-of-the-art terminal at JFK International Airport, which is further enhanced by its oneworld® Alliance membership. By 2011, New York customers will have access to approximately 290 daily departures on American and American Eagle to more than 80 destinations, including the new options for travel gained through American's partnership with JetBlue Airways.
