AirAsia X flight transfer service in KUL

AirAsia X now operates a flight transfer service for passengers. The new service will allow AirAsia X passengers to book their travel all the way to their end destination, when connecting between flights at the airline’s hub in Kuala Lumpur.

Gold Coast Airport Chief Operating Officer Paul Donovan said the new service would be well received by passengers. “This new service means passengers from Gold Coast Airport will no longer have to clear immigration in the Kuala Lumpur terminal, check their luggage in twice to connect to their onward destinations and worry about transit Visa applications.

“Suddenly, what in the past has been a time-intensive experience is now much easier, leaving passengers to focus on the excitement of their trip, without having to worry about their luggage,” Mr Donovan said. The implementation of this service coincides with AirAsia X’s ‘Bigger Than Ten Bears Sale’, with flights from the Gold Coast to Singapore for as little as $215 one way. AirAsia X’s flight transfer service is available to travellers departing from the long haul routes covering China, India, Taiwan, UK and Australia.
